How Much Does Purchase Order Software Cost In 2026?

What purchase order software costs in 2026, with prices checked on official pricing pages for Zoho, Cin7, Ordoro, Precoro, Prediko and SupplyAutomate.

How Much Does Purchase Order Software Cost In 2026? cover image

Purchase order software prices are hard to compare because the tools are sold in very different ways. One vendor charges a flat monthly fee, another charges by orders per month, a third only gives you a number after a demo, and several bundle purchase orders into a larger inventory or procurement product. If you're trying to set a budget, the sticker prices on their own don't tell you much until you know what each one actually includes.

This guide covers what purchase order software costs in October 2026, using only prices I checked on each vendor's official pricing page this month. I've grouped the tools by how they bill, explained what drives the price up, and included the costs that rarely make it onto the pricing page. If you want the feature comparison rather than the price comparison, our roundup of the best purchase order management software covers that.

A note on our own product so the comparison is fair. SupplyAutomate is $199 a month or $1,999 a year after a 14-day trial, and it doesn't connect to Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, QuickBooks, or Xero. It tracks purchase orders, shipments, and landed cost from the documents you upload, such as supplier invoices, packing lists, freight bills, and customs entries, plus parcel and ocean container tracking, and it exports to CSV or Excel.

TL;DR

  1. Purchase order software ranges from free (a spreadsheet or template) to over $1,000 a month, and several vendors only quote after a demo.
  2. Ecommerce inventory tools that include purchase orders, such as Prediko, Zoho Inventory, Cin7, and Ordoro, run from $49 to $1,199 a month on their published plans.
  3. Procurement platforms like Precoro start at $499 a month billed annually and are built around approvals, budgets, and invoice matching.
  4. Price usually climbs with order volume, users, integrations, and which plan tier unlocks purchase orders, so check the plan you'd actually need.
  5. The costs that don't appear on pricing pages, such as setup time and keeping the data clean, often matter more than the monthly fee.

How Purchase Order Software Is Priced

Most tools fall into one of three billing models, and the model matters as much as the number. Flat-fee tools charge the same amount regardless of how many orders you place, which is easy to budget but means a very small business pays the same as a busier one. Volume-based tools charge by orders, revenue, or inventory value, so the price starts low and rises as you grow, sometimes steeply at the tier boundaries.

Tiered plans are the third model, and they're the one to read most carefully. Many vendors put purchase orders, multiple warehouses, or accounting integrations on a higher tier than the headline price, so the plan you actually need can cost two or three times the cheapest one. Ordoro is a clear example, since its Inventory plans list purchase orders only on the $499 Premium plan.

Quote-only pricing is common in procurement and planning software. It isn't necessarily expensive, but it does mean you can't compare costs until you've sat through a demo, so ask for the price early.

Ecommerce Inventory Tools With Purchase Orders

Prediko

Prediko pricing page showing plans that start at $49 a month for stores under $100K in revenue with a 14 day free trial

Prediko pricing page, checked October 2026

Prediko is a Shopify inventory planning app, and it's the cheapest published price on this list. Its pricing page starts at $49 a month for stores with under $100K in revenue over the last 12 months, rising with revenue, and the annual plans give two months free. Every plan lists unlimited users, SKUs, and purchase orders, along with purchase order management and buying alerts.

There's a 14-day free trial, and billing runs through Shopify. Prediko says it integrates with Shopify stores on Basic, Advanced, and Plus plans and also with Amazon, which makes it a good fit for a Shopify brand that wants forecasting and POs together. Our guide to turning Shopify reorder points into purchase orders shows where Prediko fits in a Shopify buying routine.

Zoho Inventory

Zoho Inventory pricing page showing Standard at $29, Premium at $79, Plus at $129, and Enterprise at $249 per organization per month billed annually

Zoho Inventory pricing page, checked October 2026

Zoho Inventory is priced by orders per month and per organization rather than per user. The Zoho Inventory pricing page lists a free plan for 50 orders a month, then Standard at $29 a month for 500 orders and 3 users, Premium at $79 for 3,000 orders and 5 users, Plus at $129 for 7,500 orders, and Enterprise at $249 for 15,000 orders. Those prices are billed annually, and there's a 14-day free trial.

This is the budget option for a small team that wants a separate inventory app, especially if you already use Zoho Books. Watch the user and location limits on the lower plans, since adding people or warehouses is often what pushes the price up.

Ordoro

Ordoro pricing page with separate Shipping, Inventory, and Dropshipping apps, Inventory starting at $349 a month

Ordoro pricing page, checked October 2026

Ordoro sells shipping, inventory, and dropshipping as separate apps. The Ordoro pricing page lists two Inventory plans, Advanced at $349 a month and Premium at $499 a month, each covering 1,000 orders a month with unlimited users, warehouses, and sales channels. Purchase orders are listed on Premium only, and going over 1,000 orders a month adds $100 for each extra 1,000.

The Shipping app has a free plan and paid plans at $59 and $149 a month, so many stores start there. There's a 15-day free trial with no credit card required.

Cin7

Cin7 pricing page showing Standard at $349 a month, Pro at $599 a month, and Advanced at $1,199 a month

Cin7 pricing page, checked October 2026

Cin7 is built for multichannel brands and wholesalers, and purchase order management is part of its plans. The Cin7 pricing page lists Standard at $349 a month with 5 users, 2 ecommerce and app integrations, and 6,000 sales orders a year, Pro at $599 a month with 10 users, 4 integrations, 24,000 orders a year, and material requirements planning, and Advanced at $1,199 a month for high-volume operations with warehouse management. Prices are in USD and exclude taxes.

The integration limit is the number to watch. If you sell on several channels and use an accounting system, you can reach the included integrations quickly, and extra ones are sold separately.

Inventory Planner

Inventory Planner pricing page, checked October 2026

Inventory Planner doesn't publish prices. Its pricing page says pricing is based on the volume of inventory you manage, is given upfront once you request it, and always includes unlimited users. It's a forecasting and replenishment tool that creates purchase orders from its buying recommendations, so it suits brands with a large catalog and enough sales history to plan from.

Procurement Platforms

Precoro pricing page showing Core from $499 a month and Automation from $999 a month billed annually, and a custom Enterprise plan

Precoro pricing page, checked October 2026

Procurement software is a different category from ecommerce inventory tools. It's built for teams that need purchase requests, approvals, budgets, and invoice matching across departments, and it usually costs more. The Precoro pricing page lists Core from $499 a month billed annually, covering purchase requests, purchase orders, receipts, invoices, 2- and 3-way matching, automated approvals, and QuickBooks Online or Xero integration. Automation starts at $999 a month billed annually and adds AP automation, inventory, a supplier portal, and AI document processing, and Enterprise is custom.

All three plans say Request a Quote, so treat the published numbers as a starting point. For most ecommerce brands buying from a handful of factories, a procurement platform is more process than you need, and our guide to procurement software for small business explains when it starts to make sense.

SupplyAutomate

SupplyAutomate pricing page showing $199 a month, $1,999 a year, a 14 day free trial with no card, and unlimited suppliers and brands

SupplyAutomate pricing page, checked October 2026

SupplyAutomate is built for brands that import from overseas factories and want purchase orders, shipments, and landed cost in one place. You create the purchase order, upload the supplier invoice, packing list, freight bill, and customs entry, and each document is read and filed on the right order. Parcel and ocean container tracking show where the goods are, and the landed cost per unit is built from the factory price, freight, duty, and samples.

The pricing page lists one plan at $199 a month or $1,999 a year, with a 14-day trial and no credit card required, unlimited suppliers and brands, and unlimited team members. It doesn't sync with your store or accounting software, so you export orders and landed cost reports to CSV or Excel and use them in other systems. If you'd rather start without software, the free purchase order creator and purchase order template cost nothing.

What Pushes The Price Up

Order volume is the most common driver. Zoho Inventory, Ordoro, and Cin7 all tie plans to how many orders you process, so a busy season can move you up a tier. Revenue-based pricing like Prediko's and inventory-volume pricing like Inventory Planner's work the same way, just measured differently.

Users and integrations come next. Cin7 limits users and integrations per plan, and Zoho Inventory limits users on its lower tiers, while Ordoro, Prediko, Inventory Planner, and SupplyAutomate list unlimited users. If several people need access, a per-plan user limit can matter more than the base price.

Features locked to higher tiers are the third driver. Check that purchase orders, multiple warehouses, and the integrations you need are on the plan you're pricing, since the cheapest tier often leaves one of them out.

Costs That Don't Show Up On The Pricing Page

The monthly fee is usually the smallest part of the real cost in year one. Someone has to set up suppliers and products, bring in open purchase orders, and learn the new workflow, and procurement platforms in particular often scope implementation separately. Ask each vendor what setup involves and who does it before you compare monthly prices.

The other hidden cost is keeping the data current. A tool that needs someone to type in every shipment update or freight invoice costs staff time every week, which is the same problem a spreadsheet has. Our comparison of a landed cost spreadsheet vs software and the guide to moving from Excel to automated purchase order tracking cover that trade-off in more detail.

If you're weighing software against people, our guides to the cost to hire a supply chain manager and whether to hire a supply chain manager or use software put the software prices above next to salary figures. That comparison is useful when the real question is whether you need another person or a better tool.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Much Does Purchase Order Software Cost Per Month?

Published prices on the tools I checked range from $49 a month for Prediko's entry plan to $1,199 a month for Cin7 Advanced, with procurement platforms like Precoro starting at $499 a month billed annually. Zoho Inventory also has a free plan for 50 orders a month.

Is There Free Purchase Order Software?

Zoho Inventory has a free plan for up to 50 orders a month, and Ordoro's Shipping app has a free plan, though Ordoro's purchase orders are on its paid Inventory Premium plan. For occasional orders, a free purchase order template or the purchase order creator may be enough.

Why Do Some Vendors Not Show Prices?

Vendors like Inventory Planner price by the volume of inventory you manage, and procurement platforms like Precoro ask you to request a quote for every plan. That usually means the price depends on your size and setup, so ask for it early in the conversation.

Does SupplyAutomate Charge Per User Or Per Order?

No. SupplyAutomate is $199 a month or $1,999 a year with unlimited team members and unlimited suppliers and brands, after a 14-day trial with no card required.

Should Purchase Order Software Include Landed Cost?

If you import, it helps a lot, because the purchase order price is only part of what a unit costs you. Our guide to landed cost per unit explains how freight and duty change the number, and the free landed cost calculator works it out for one shipment.

Before You Sign Anything

Pick the two or three tools that match how you buy, then price the exact plan you'd need, with your real order volume, users, and integrations, rather than the headline number. Use the free trials with a few real orders before you commit to an annual plan. And ask every vendor what setup involves, because that's the cost that most often surprises people in the first month.
